Colby donated last year to our local Beaver State club a beautiful NHL Jersey to help with our raffle fund raiser.

King is owned by Dan & Ginger Monteleone of Florida. The Monteleone’s are wonderful owners that have taken up the cause for the American Pit Bull Terrier. They are helping in the fight against BSL in Miami, FL which has banned the ABPT for over 24 years. Currently they are involved in the Miami Coalition to over turn BSL legislation.

King was also featured in an re-enactment for Animal planet Swamp Wars

King has been featured on Animal Planet in a reenactment with his owner Dan. King is out of Hot Rod Lincoln x Trina owned by Dan & Ginger Monteleone. Monteleone’s are amazing people that are huge advocates for the breed, and are actively involved in rescue in Florida.

When we first got Rossi I was just expecting to do some dog shows and have a great family dog. Well, she gave me what I asked and more. Rossi obtained her CGC a week after her first birthday on a whim. We have completed the Companion Dog Patrol with the California East Bay Parks District and we volunteer our time to walk the parks in our area. She is a 4H dog competing in County Dog field days, County fairs, and State fairs in showmanship and obedience with my 12 year old daughter Hannah. She is now one year into training in hopes of becoming a mission area search and rescue dog with California Rescue Dog Associations. And with all these amazing feats we have ONLY used positive reinforcement methods to train and meet all our goals, and grown closer as teammates.

Raging “Bull” was born on April 7, 2011. His father is Enforcer which is co-owned by Ernie Sims of the Detroit Lions and Cheryl Caragan of Caragan kennels. His mother is Passion which is owned by Caragan kennels. Passion went full term and delivered 11 healthy puppies (5 of them black — 3 males and 2 females). Bull’s current owner waited for two year for this specific breeding and was awarded pick of the litter (his interest was in the Black dogs). As the puppies approached weaning they were evaluated for temperament. While all the males were quality dogs, Bull was chosen by his new owner because of his even temperament, physical attributes and intelligence. Additionally, Bull closely resembles his father which was very much desired.

The new owner took possession of Bull on June 10th. Bull quickly claimed is space as a new family member and within a week was enrolled in puppy classes for socialization purposes. During one session the person responsible for the class comment on Bull’s intelligence level saying that it exceeded most dogs that come through his program. His new owner is also an experienced dog trainer and has provided all of Bull’s training. Bull is an overachiever he excelled at everything that he did. He had his Canine Good Citizen certification by 6 months of age (most dogs are 1 year or older). Bull has all basic commands mastered (ie. sit, stay, come, etc.) by 3 months. And by 6 months, he also had more advanced skills mastered such as potting on command, retrieving, healing off leash, etc. Bull was taught early on what toys were his and that everything else was off-limits. As a result, he has never chewed anything in the house, He was also taught inside manners and does not run in the house, jump at the door when the doorbell rings, drink out of the toilet, get in the trash or beg for food. As far as outside goes, he was taught not to dig, jump the fence or leave the yard even if the gate is left wide open. Bull is a perfect companion with excellent manners.

Regarding aggression, Bull shows no aggression towards humans and he loves kids. He is also good with other dogs provided they do not try to show dominance. Even at a young age Bull would never submit to another dog (even older dogs). In the instances where this has occurred Bull quickly takes charge and put the dog in his place. If he ever runs up against another dog that is of the same mindset, it would be a big problem. I’m sure a break stick or two would be required.

My plans for Bull aside from companionship is for him to do work as a Touch Therapy dog. The program requires that dogs are 2 years old to enter the program so we have a bit over a year for the that. I am also considering agility competitions and dock diving as extra activates for him. He would excel at both.

Bull is also the spokesdog (main model) for a company called Studz Dogz (www.Studzdogz.com). They sell leather dog apparel and accessories This happened following a chance meeting with the companies owner. He can be seen on their website modeling some of their gear.

In summary, Bull is incredibly smart, extremely athletic, very determined, focused and loving. He has been a pleasure and surpassed my expectations. I’m very pleased with his development and anticipate even more progress as he matures. I couldn’t ask for a better dog or a better companion.

Caragan’s Steel Juno is co-owned with my great friends Matteo Vedovato & Marula Furlan in Italy. Marula flew to the US from Italy to pick up her puppy, then we attended a dock diving event. Marula really enjoyed Dock Diving and getting a chance to watch my Lola perform. Marula is a certified Therapy dog, Senso Puppy Program, Obedience, Agility trainer in Italy her husband Matteo is a a renowned reining Quarter trainer. I am so very pleased with the great home my Italian friends have provided for my gorgeous Juno. Caragan’s Steel Hitch co-owned with my wonderful friends Antonio Triosi & Debora Cataldo of Jaedy’s American Devils Kennel in Camaiore, Italy. Antonio and Debora flew to the US to come and pick up their beautiful red boy. Hitch is a gorgeous red nose boy who has become Debora’s special boy. Hitch is competing in ACCP registry in Italy and is close to his Champion title. Thank you Jaedy’s American Kennel for loving and caring for my boy.
